Situated in the prestigious district of Belgravia, Chelsea Barracks is a 12.8-acre development that embodies beauty, refinement, and legacy, showcasing development design at its finest. Located on Chelsea Bridge Road, this iconic new neighbourhood seamlessly blends contemporary design with the vibrant heritage of the former barracks. Elicyon’s work on a flagship show home interior design project, uniquely captures this dynamic blend, offering a fresh perspective on luxury living within a historic setting. Chelsea Barracks is more than just a collection of residential units; it is a community deeply rooted in its storied past. Drawing inspiration from the history of the site as an operating barracks, we sought to honour its legacy by incorporating elements that reflect a rich military heritage.
Our designs embrace the wider architectural environment, through the use of ivory hues and a regal palette that echoes the buildings’ facades. Aesthetic nuances with a military flavour, such as midnight shades of navy and sovereign gold inspired by traditional military attire, offer a profound exploration of comfort, legacy and luxury. Elicyon’s show apartment within the development is a spacious 4,300 square-foot residence, meticulously designed to balance function and flair. It features two elegant living spaces, four en-suite bedrooms, a principal bedroom with an adjoining dressing room, a kitchen, study, cinema, and dining room. The interiors are filled with bespoke crafted furnishings and examples of artistic innovation, including works from renowned designers such as Andrew Martin, Arteriors, and Colbourns. In addition to the residential units, Elicyon designed the ambient interior of The Garrison Club, an exclusive facility for residents of Chelsea Barracks. This world-leading amenity is a lavish lifestyle offering that mirrors the opulence and utility of the apartments themselves. The Garrison Club also serves as a hub of business suites, providing residents with relaxation as well as functionality. Our interior design of the club reveals a delicate balance between material glamour and relaxed ambiance, celebrating the delicacy of tactility. Chelsea Barracks stands as a testament to luxury and heritage, offering an unparalleled living experience on London’s historic Chelsea Bridge Road. The overall aesthetic of this world-leading luxury development not only references the past but sets a new standard for contemporary residential living.
