With the aim to fully occupy the space with material vibrancy and art, the chromatic harmony of the space came from the tension of British artist Peter Kinley’s work with the vivid accents of colourful fabrics and materials that blossom across the home. This composure is then sat alongside complementary neutral hues from the bleaching of the space’s original timber base features, a radiant complexion that exemplifies the grace of process. This balance delicately erupts from the apartment’s curious and eclectic collection of materials, taking inspiration from the past and the present in their curation, culminating in an experience poised and primed for modern life. From its leathered marble and exposed joints, to its plaster finishes and bespoke furniture, texture quietly dominates the apartment; accentuating the physical, sensual and emotional ambience of the space, and its homely purpose of somewhere to not only stay, but somewhere to truly live.
