The Directors

The talented and professional Elicyon team has been carefully selected from amongst the most illustrious design houses in the UK. Their joint experience encompasses myriad forms of design and development from luxury residential homes, developments, and marketing show suites through to innovative and captivating restaurants and hotels.


The key members of the team attained their experience working for the prestigious Candy & Candy group and are highly qualified, accomplished and competent at working on prestigious projects such as apartments within One Hyde Park, townhouses in Belgravia, villas in the Middle East alongside developments in New York and Los Angeles.

Charu Gandhi, the founder and director of Elicyon is a fully registered ARB Architect and has been working in the field of architecture and interior design for over a decade. Together with her hand-picked and highly skilled team she provides a personal, accomplished service to all her clients, characterised by her natural charm, professional approach, extensive knowledge and insistence on scrupulous attention to detail.

Charu Gandhi


Charu Gandhi is a qualified Architect, fully registered with RIBA and ARB, who studied and taught at the Architectural Association before joining the London offices of Allies & Morrison Architects in 2006. During her time there she worked on several exceptional international projects including a boutique hotel in Beirut, luxury spa villas in Kerala and the Doha National Library. Her portfolio of commissions also included the London Olympics Masterplan and a collection of exclusive residences in Qatar.

In 2011 Charu joined the renowned Candy & Candy group. Her role was to Project Manage the private commission team, running their highly prestigious international portfolio of commissions, which included luxurious villas in India and several private residences in Africa. In conjunction with these projects she also worked on residences in the esteemed One Hyde Park development.

Her international upbringing has instilled in her a wealth of knowledge and experience that allows her to move seamlessly between different cultures. Born into a family of entrepreneurs, she has an enhanced knowledge of business development and management. It is these multifaceted assets that set her apart from her competitors.

Together with her dynamic team of talented Designers, Architects and Project Managers, Charu provides a highly personalised service delivering luxury, bespoke interiors.

Cecilia Halling

Creative Director

Cecilia Halling is an experienced and sophisticated Interior Designer whose forte is creating stylish, elegant and luxurious spaces. She has a masterly approach to designing bespoke and tailored residential schemes for high net worth individuals, as well as exclusive property developments.

Before joining Elicyon, Cecilia was part of the design team at Candy & Candy and Morpheus London, where she gained valuable insight and experience in all aspects of interior design. While there she successfully completed assignments within both the luxury residential and developments market. She can include such prestigious projects as a Belgravia townhouse, an Holland Park house, several apartments within the highly regarded One Hyde Park, a house in Beverly Hills and a lateral penthouse apartment which overlooks Central Park set within The Private Residences section of the Plaza Hotel in New York.

As Creative Director at Elicyon, Cecilia contributes her exemplary creative vision to ensure that every project is innovative, unique and distinctive. Her role is to skilfully oversee the team and ensure that the design is fulfilled to the highest level of excellence.

Her innate talent is focusing on the working relationship with the client, delivering design work that is accomplished expertly, efficiently and fastidiously. Her flair guarantees that each home is an outstanding success, surpassing the needs and desires of the client.

David Harris

Projects Director

David Harris is an experienced, professional and skilled project manager. He has extensive knowledge of overseeing the design process, construction and completion of exclusive and distinguished projects. Prior to joining the team at Elicyon, David was the European Construction Manager for Burberry, where he supervised the restoration and redevelopment of Burberry’s landmark heritage flagship store on London’s Regent Street. During his time at Burberry he also was responsible for developing stores across Europe in historical and protected buildings. His expert project management skills have been gained from his career in developing complex, high-budget retail projects.

His ability, insight and astute judgement make him proficient in understanding the necessary attainment of quality, but also the importance of completing projects within intense timeframes and strict budget guidelines.

His career was formed while working for the family joinery business, which in time prompted him to take on commissions within respected project management consultancies, where he faced the challenge of managing demanding logistics and coordinating a vast team.

David’s skills are his impressive leadership, grasp of communication and his superb management qualities. He instinctively understands the level of quality expected and desired by our clients and consistently delivers projects of an unequalled calibre.
